Turn Coat
The eleventh book in Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files series, Turn Coat, is exactly what you would expect from it. The standard beats for the series all appear on cue; Wizard-Private Eye Harry Dresden gets thrown into the deep end of a mystery in the first few chapters, complications ensue forcing him to forge dubious allegiances and make rash plans, finally resolving in some arse-kicking and the resolution of the mystery.
Fans of the series may be a bit disappointed with the ease at which the main villain can be deduced. However, strong characterization, interesting action and the small details of the plot ensure that this is the one of the best books in the series so far.
