Computer games are a brilliant way to waste large amounts of time. In recent years “Video gaming” with consoles has started to take more and more of the limelight. However computer gaming is still growing and holds on tightly to a number of game genre that are harder to implement on consoles, or simply are traditionally computer games.
The most popular computer game genres which have resisted the move to console tend to be computer Role Playing Games (cRPG), Strategy and First person shooters. Also a number of old school computer games are still popular. — eonsim

{True, Japanese RPGs like FF & Zelda do very well on consoles however the Western AD&D, ones haven’t done so well. FPSs tend to work better on what ever system they were designed halo, brilliant console shooter, average computer shooter, vice vesa with things like Doom and Quake - eonsim}
