Extensions can add a lot of useful features to firefox:

  • Critical Extensions
  • Useful Extensions
  • Cool
  • Development
    • Firebug. If you do any web development, you need this extension.
    • MeasureIt. Measuring tool- great for figuring out padding, positioning etc.
    • IETab. Handy for discovering to what extent IE has mangled your beautiful, standards-compliant CSS layout without actually clicking that evil little ‘e’ icon… (shudder)

Firebug 1.0 is the sweetest development tool since sliced bread &mdash Greg

Totally. I can’t live with out it. 1.0 is the tool i require to develop for the web. The new improved inspector and the network profiler are both magnificent. Firebug is why i dont use Opera when i am on windows (ie, at work) — brehaut
