XFN—

I was tweaking my XFN tagging tonight to reflect some recent changes in my life, and ive decided that the Romantic category is focused strongly toward an american audience. eg:

muse

Someone who brings you inspiration. No inverse.

crush

Someone you have a crush on. No inverse.

date

Someone you are dating. Symmetric. Not transitive.

sweetheart

Someone with whom you are intimate and at least somewhat committed, typically exclusively. Symmetric. Not transitive.

Each description seems to imply the wrong connotations for what I need. either too weak, or too strong or something i guess. Oh well, i shall make do.
